Molas CL tower clearance lidar is a type of lidar that continuously monitors the clearance distance of blade tips in real time. When the monitored blade clearance value approaches the specified minimum clearance value, the main controller of the fan unit can promptly implement protective measures such as deceleration and retraction.

The utilization of tower clearance lidar in existing units can effectively prevent tower sweeping, mitigate the power limit of risky units, and ultimately boost power generation capabilities. In the context of future units, the integration of tower clearance lidar can lead to reduced blade costs and lowered design pressure levels for the units.
